CRAM wouldn’t exist without the help of volunteers. They make our work more effective so that we can reach further than our resources. Involve you in conservation of the marine environment is an indispensable part of our philosophy, that’s why we are opened for your selfless participation in our activities and action lines.
You just have to be of age and be subscribed as CRAM collaborator. We wait for you to come and get involved in the work we do.

Clinic & Rescue Area
Rapid Response Network
One of our hallmarks is the capacity for rapid reaction to a stranding of an endangered species anywhere in the Catalan coast. This flexibility is possible through the volunteer network that is distributed along the coast and carries out the animal first aid pending the arrival of the CRAM rescue team. To this end, this group of volunteers receives adequate training.
Requirements: to live in any municipality of the Catalan coast (except Barcelona and surroundings), have driver's license and, if possible, a car.
Rehabilitation Center
The participation of environmental volunteers in the maintenance of the Center for Rehabilitation is essential for smooth operation. The volunteers work in the maintenance of facilities and in tasks such as cleaning and feeding animals, assist healing and help in the rehabilitation of stranded animals.
Requirements: Minimum availability of 2 mornings per week and alternate weekends (morning and afternoon) with availability for training 3 mornings on weekdays. Minimum two months.
Education Area
One of the most important tools in preserving the environment is environmental education. Volunteers in this area are usually the first contact with the problems of the marine environment for many people. Their collaboration allows disseminating the different action lines of the CRAM Foundation, both at school and private groups.
Requirements: Minimum availability 2 mornings per week or possibility of weekend mornings. Catalan required and a commitment of 6 months.
Communication and Image Area
The CRAM has always generated the interest of the media. This outreach effort through the media not only helps to publicize the organization, but also complements the educational work of the CRAM. Volunteers can assist in the generation of graphic and written information on the activities of the CRAM Foundation.
Requirements: availability according to the amount of work. Working from home is possible.
Conservation Area
The volunteers involved in this area support the projects that are launched throughout the year. The tasks are varied and always directed towards the conservation the marine environment.
Scientific sailboat: "Vell Marí"
The campaigns undertaken by the scientific sailboat “Vell Marí”, although they are set in the Conservation Area, create a special interest and have led to an area of participation itself. Volunteers who work in “Vell Marí” can participate in maintenance and navigation tasks and support conservation projects that can be carried out aboard the ship.
Management and Administration Area
It is a volunteer who assists in the daily running of the offices, can assist in the administration area or in other administrative areas such as education and conservation.
Requirements: availability according to the amount of work. Working from home it’s possible.
